Description

CRESD Analyst for the Open Text document management system Livelink helps you to analyse the performace leaks of your livelink installation. Without CRESD Analyst you have to examine each loge file of your Livelink and web servers manualy which could be a time consuming and expensive process.

Livelink Analysis

Livelink 9.0 or later can write "Comma Separated Values" files, with one record for each request. Each record contains the total time, database time and output time.

CRESD Analyst imports the protocoll files timingsx_y.csv of your Livelink servers into an Oracle database and shows an analysis of your livelink performance in a table and graphical window. In order to save disk space it is possible to compress the records. The most important analyses are still available.

Webserver Analysis

Included with livelink analysis is the possibility to measure and analyse the response times of your web server. This program is sold separatley as CRESD HTTP Check. CRESD HTTP Check can simulate any number of concurrent users. A special automatic mode can find out the maximum number of concurent users with an acceptable respnse time. Additional we have added a special NT service that automatically checks the performance every five minute and sends an alert mail if it encounters any problem.

Here you can see the average response times for one, two, three, five and ten concurrent users. The second number shows the number of loop used to calucate the average response time.

• Livelink 9.x (Unix or Windows, log files must be reachable for the windows client via windows share) (CRESD Analyst only)
• Oracle 8.x or later for the CRESD Analyst/CRESD HTTP Check database (Unix or Windows).
• Windows NT/2000/XP with Oracle client software
