LL Archive for the Open Text document management system Livelink add two archives and a user specific trash can.
Expired documents, folder or news can be automatically or manually moved to a livelink archive volume or can be copied to a logical hard disk volume of your livelink server. It is possible to define a category attribute of type date to use for the expiration check.
The livelink archive volume can store all standard livelink meta data, thus all infomation wil retain. Allmost every type of livelink items can be moved to the livelink archive volume.
The external archive can be used for example to copy archived files to a backup system on magnetic tape or other media. If required, it is possible to automatically delete the files that were copied to the external archive.
The trash recieves all documents and folder that have been deleted by the users. If required, you can configure the number of day, these documents will retain in the trash can until they will be deleted from the livelink repository.
